Vertical blinds are difficult to clean if you do not know the proper ways.  Below are 5 easy steps that you can follow in order to effectively clean these blinds:   Do not clean the vertical blinds while they are hanging.  Initially, what you need to do is to remove the vertical blinds from where they are being hung.  Cleaning the vertical blinds while at hang can damage the blades.  It is best that you use a bigger space like a bath tub or a flat surfaced basin when cleaning the vertical blinds.  This will allow all accumulated dirt and dust to loosen when the blinds are soaked on it.  You can pour in liquid soap or detergent powder just so the dirt can be loosened. When vertical blinds are already in the bath tub or any flat surfaced basin, allow it to be soaked for an hour or so.  This will give your soap the chance to loosen the dirt.Drain the tub.  After draining the tub, pour in water in the tub in order to remove any remnant of dirt.  When drying them up, make sure that you pull them out from tub and hang them vertically.  Let the water dry up in that form.   Vertical blinds are after all not so hard to clean only when you know the tricks!
