Staying organized requires an effort from you. But if you know a trick or two about house organization you would be able to do it almost effortlessly. Nevertheless, you have to develop the right habits in order not to find organizing a burden. For example, cleaning and tidying up things after using is a good practice. But if you don't have this habit, you have to consciously practice this first before it becomes automatic for you.   The more things you have the more you have to clean and organize. That is why it is wise to gather all the things you no longer need and give them away. If want them for their monetary value, then you could at least sell them so you can get the money. The point is to minimize the things in your home so you will have less to tidy up.  You would also free up more space so your home would look less cluttered. After all there is no sense to keep on cleaning something you would not even use.   If you have things that you don't use much on display, you should keep them in the cabinets. This way, they will catch less dust and dirt. Your tabletop or countertop would look less cluttered as well. But even cabinets need to be organized. The trick is simply to group similar things together. With everything organized and kept in their own place, you would be able to find things much easier and your home will look relaxing without the clutter.
