Domestic Cleaning How we Clean Your Appliances
Quality appliances are almost always never cheap, and considering them money you pour into them when you buy them, they can be considered as investments – something you won’t need to replace in a long while. And like any other investment, you should take care of your appliances so you can maximize their use. No matter how durable and how high quality your appliances are, they are still exposed to the regular wear and tear that all appliances go through (depending on use, of course) and without the proper cleaning, this wear and tear can be exacerbated, thus lowering the lifespan of these said appliances.
The first thing you should remember is that the more often you use these appliances, the dirtier they can become and the more frequently you have to clean them. Cooking stoves, for example, always have a layer of grease and oil pretty much everywhere on them because of the nature of its use. The longer the intervals are in-between cleaning, the thicker this grease will get and the longer and harder it will be for you to clean it. And greasy stoves just are unpleasant to look at, and are very icky to touch. So using some warm water with a bit of anti-grease soap and a bit of bleach with a piece of cloth can be very useful in cleaning off the grease. You can also use a small brush dipped in the same solution to get rid of grease and stains on the corners and small ridges on your stove. When rinsing and removing the soap solution, you can use the same damp cloth, but dipped and squeezed in clean water.
When cleaning your appliances, always check the instructions indicated in the manual (one good reason you should always keep your appliances’ manuals) so that you know the specific cleaning instructions for your particular household appliance. This is because some appliances have to be cleaned in a specific or certain way so as to avoid damaging it. Also make sure to examine every nook and cranny and clean them, as rust and other corrosion can start from the smallest corner of your appliances. It is also very important for you safety that if ever the appliances come into contact with moisture during your cleaning, they should be thoroughly dried before you use them, especially if they have to be plugged into an electrical outlet.
